(1) The bank shall not purchase such bonds before the end of the payment period of the bonds listed in accordance with sub-rule (2) of Rule 12.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if the bank deems it necessary to intervene in the securities market in the course of implementing the monetary policy, it may publicly purchase bonds from the securities market.
